This piece is conceived as an architectural object, where form is shaped equally by balance and gesture. Each volume is considered not only for its visual presence, but also for its structural role, creating a dialogue between mass, void, and stability.
The lower spherical element is hollow and connected to the main body, allowing water to become part of the composition itself. As the vessel is filled, its weight shifts downward, helping even larger arrangements remain grounded and stable. In this way, what first appears to be a sculptural gesture becomes an essential functional system.
Every protrusion, cut, and volume is intentional, contributing both to the visual rhythm of the object and to its physical equilibrium. Within the Absent Object Nr. 1 , form and usability are inseparable. Each element serves a purpose, whether structural or aesthetic, resulting in objects that exist to create architectural arrangements.
